DESCRIPTION The Vietnam and Indochina Tour starts from Saigon, explore mysterious VIETNAM from the bustle of the Mekong Delta and Saigon to the history of Hue - the Royal City, the charm of Hoian, to the Natural Wonder in Halong Bay. You will be also attracted by LAOS - the Land of a Million Elephants - with two capital Vientiane and Luang Prabang and the thriving CAMBODIA with its capital Phnom Penh and the magical temples of Angkor in Siem Reap.

ITINERARY Day 1: Arrive in Saigon Arrival day. Greetings at the airport, you are transferred to hotel for check in and tour briefing. You can acclimatize yourself with a walking tour in the downtown of Saigon - the biggest city in Vietnam. An welcome Vietnamese dinner to be hosted by Focus Travel. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 2: Saigon City Tour A day tour of Saigon. Your sightseeing tour of the city includes the Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral - two of the city's architectural landmarks. Later you drive to Cholon - Saigon's China Town and thriving commercial hub where you can visit Thien Hau pagoda. Some shopping in downtown of Saigon may be a good idea to close your day. Day 3: Saigon - Mekong Delta (or Cu Chi and Tay Ninh) Today, your journey to Vinh Long - the heart of the Mekong Delta. Passing a traditional floating market of Cai Be, you can experience its excitement and then walk through orchards of mangoes, coconuts and bananas. Continuing on, you paddle in a sampan to the beautiful Binh Hoa Phuoc Island and sample some more exotic fruit of the region before driving back to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon
Day 4: Saigon - Danang - Hoian Transfer to airport and take a morning flight to Danang. Tour of Danang includes Cham museum, Marble Mountains and China Beach, then you drive some 30km south to Hoian. The remainder of the day is to explore Hoian town. You can wander its peaceful narrow streets to see many centuries-old architectures combining influences of many exotic trading community. Late afternoon, travel by sampan on the Thu Bon River or to spend your leisure time on beautiful sandy beach of Cua Dai. Evening at your leisure; a dinner with local food can be your memorable experience. Overnight in Hoian
Day 5: Hoian - Hue Leaving behind the peaceful atmosphere of Hoian and you travel north, passing the beautiful Hai Van Pass to Hue. You can stop at scenic Lang Co Beach. Arrive Hue in the afternoon, check in hotel and free. Overnight in Hue.
Day 6: Hue Morning boat trip along the serene Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda. You will also visit mausoleum of Tu Duc king and the Royal Citadel with its Imperial Purple City which has made Hue become the World's Cultural Heritage. In late afternoon, we visit the bustling Dong Ba market, see the life of local people. Overnight in Hue.
Day 7: Hue - Hanoi Transfer to airport for short flight to Hanoi. on arrival at Hanoi, you are met at airport and accompanied to hotel. Afternoon, you acclimatize yourself with a tour on 'cyclo' in the downtown of Hanoi. Evening is highlighted by the water puppet performance, a traditional form of Vietnamese art. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 8: Hanoi - Halong - Hanoi Today is a day trip to Halong Bay. You drive through the Red River delta to Halong Bay and go on board for 4 hour cruising by boat which affords you the spectacle of the nature - Halong Bay, the Vietnam's most scenic site and the unique World's Wonder. You explore its natural beauty and cave. If the weather is hot, you can swim in the deep blue water of Halong Bay. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 9: Hanoi city tour Morning sightseeing of Hanoi. You visit the city's outstanding tourist sites such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, one-pillar Pagoda, West Lake area, the Temple of Literature and Hanoi Hilton. Afternoon, you will visit some National Museums and have a walking tour to explore the lively streets in the old quarter of Hanoi. Evening is at your leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 10: Hanoi Vientiane You leave Vietnam and fly to Vientiane - the capital of Laos by VN 841 . Arriving at the Wattay Airport. Transfer to the hotel. Afternoon is city tour visiting the Great Sacred Stupa - That Luang, Wat Phra Keow, Wat Sisaket and the Arc de Triumph. Overnight in Vientiane.
Day 11: Vientiane - Luang Prabang Visit morning market before transfering to airport for a flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, you will have tour of town, visiting Wats: Visounalat, known as "the Watermelon Stupa"; the ornate Wat Mai; and Wat Xieng Thong, an exquisite 400 year old royal monastery complex. In late afternoon, you climb Phousi Hill, with its derelict anti - aircraft gun and revered shrine, to view the sunset over the Mekong and mountains beyond. Overnight in Luang Prabang
Day 12: Luang Prabang Early morning you will see long lines of barefoot monks in procession through the streets of Luang Prabang. Afterwards will be an excursion by boat on Mekong river by motorboat to the holy caves Pak Ou, a mystical pilgrimage site above the river. Over the past five centuries, kings, princes, merchants, and peasants have come to the caves to worship, leaving behind more than 3,000 statues of the Buddha. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 13: Luang Prabang Visit the former King's Palace, now a national museum and the central market. Continuing on, you visit to H'Mong and Kh'mu villages, a weaving village and the Khuang Si Falls.
Day 14: Luang Prabang - Kasi - Vang Vieng Visit minorities villages en route and local farms (tea production etc.) Afternoon, cruise on the Nam Song River, visit Tham Chan caves. Overnight in Nam Song Hotel.
Day 15: Vang Vieng - Vientiane - Phnom Penh Visit local market before driving to airport for flight to Phnom Penh (VN 841 1350-1535). Transfer to Sunway hotel. Free in the evening.
Day 16: Phnom Penh Morning city tour: Silver Pagoda, National Museum, Royal Palace, Independent
Day 17: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap (speedboat to Siem Reap)
Early morning, you will take speedboat to Siem Reap. A local guide you at the boat station in Siem Reap. Check in hotel in Siam Reap. Afternoon, you start to explore the ancient Angkor city. You will visit The Southern Gate of Angkor Thom, World Wonder of Angkor Wat Temples and you can watch sunset from Phnom Bakheng Hill in late afternoon. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 18: Siem Reap
Today you will visit Pre Rup, Mebon, Tasom, Neak Poan and Preah Khan Temples. Afternoon, continue visiting to Thommanun, Chaosay Tevoda Temples, Spean Thma (the ancient bridge), Takeo, Famous Ta Prohm, Banteay Kdei Temples, terraces of Sras Srang and Prasat Kravan. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 19: Departure from Siem Reap
You will have full day exploring the other part of Angkor city: Phimean Akas Temples, Elephants and Leper Kinh Terraces, famous Bayon complex before transferring to the airport for departure.
